  • Michael Liberta – President Michael joined PPL's Energy Services Group as director of operations for Trystate Mechanical in January 2002. He was promoted to president in August 2007. Since joining Trystate he has worked on several initiatives to grow the company and expand its offerings. These initiatives have included the company's growth in HVAC-centric direct-to-owner projects with full responsibility for all craftwork, its usage of BIM, its expansion into providing at-risk trade management services to healthcare and university clients, and the installation of green technology products such as fuel cells and micro turbines.
  • Michael J. O'Brien, Sr. – Director of Operations, VP Michael's career began as an apprentice with Local 638 Steamfitters, NYC & LI in 1971. After graduating at the top of his class, he began supervising work and continued in the trade for nearly two decades. Michael left the trades in 1989 to join Morse Diesel International. During his thirteen-year career at Morse Diesel, Michael was responsible for construction of central utility plants and time- and client-sensitive projects for the New York Stock Exchange. Since joining Trystate in 2003, Michael has served as the company's general superintendent and director of operations with responsibility for all field operations and project management activities.

  • Kathleen O'Brien – Service Manager Kathy's began her career at Trystate in 1984 as the company's receptionist. In the ensuing years she was promoted to various positions in both the operations and accounting departments. Today, Kathy manages the company's service department. She consults with clients on their service contracts, submits proposals for new accounts, manages the day-to-day scheduling of the company's service technicians, and oversees purchasing and billing for service work.
  • Arek Szablowski, LEED AP, BD+C – Director of Estimating, VP Arek joined Trystate's estimating department in 2013. Previously Arek spent several years with Gilbane Building Company working on a variety of project types including criminal justice, healthcare and university. He has extensive experience in a variety of MEP systems and controls as well as commissioning. A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a LEED AP, BD+C professional, Arek received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut with a minor in business administration.
