The entire team at Trystate knows safety is one of our company's core values, and we put safety at the forefront of every project. Our approach to safety includes:
(1) regular training of all our employees, including field and office personnel, (2) constant communication, (3) accountability and (4) planning.

All steamfitter foremen, HVAC service technicians, and operations staff complete the OSHA 30-hour course. All other tradesmen, both journeyman and apprentice, complete the OSHA 10-hour course. Additional training is provided in specific areas such as scaffolding, fire watch, manlift usage, first aid and CPR. The majority of training is provided by the company's safety director, while some training is outsourced to industry specialists.
