TMI has the experience and ability to construct a wide variety of projects, as either a subcontractor or as the mechanical prime contractor. Our in-house mechanical engineers, project managers, pipe drafters, union pipefitters, and LEED specialists have the get-it-done attitude to complete projects within approved budgets and schedules.

HVAC Service

Working directly for a wide range of clients our staff of union service technicians maintains buildings throughout the New York metropolitan area. The company's fleet of service vehicles is also available for emergency service 24 hours a day. Corporate, residential, and cultural institutions rely on TMI's team to do small construction installations as well as service and maintain their equipment. These small construction projects range from basic DX systems to more complex heating and cooling projects.

Green Energy

As a prime mechanical contractor, TMI has completed a variety of green energy projects throughout the New York metropolitan area. As the prime, Trystate is responsible for all phases of the project and all of the different subcontractors including structural steel, roofing, electrical, and plumbing. Green projects successfully completed by TMI include fuel cell installations, cogen plants, and microturbine installations for clients ranging from hotels to computer data centers to hospitals.

BIM

With a keen eye on emerging technologies, Trystate has an in-house technical development group that focuses on projects requiring the use of 3D drafting and coordination utilizing BIM. Our staff utilizes the latest hardware and software technologies and the company invests a substantial portion of its annual R&D budget into the emerging usage of BIM.
